Glock 17/18 Long Muzzle Break

Muzzle breaks (aka. compensators) are designed to be a recoil management tool for when firing real-steel guns. They work by redirecting the gasses being propelled out of the end of the muzzle in certain directions to provide opposing forces to counteract recoil.

While this sounds neat, on an airsoft gun, it won't do much aside look really cool. This particular muzzle break not only offers cools aesthetics though, you'll also get expanded 20mm rail space below, with the option to have an extra top rail to mount sights onto. Careful consideration has also been made when designing the gas vents, which can offer interesting gas expulsions in colder weather.

The muzzle break offers 71mm of rail space (138mm with optional top-rail), and adds 98mm to the overall length of the gun.

Usage

To attach:
Making sure there's nothing already attached to your Glock 17/18's rail, simply align the part to the front of the gun, and push on. There may be some resistance as it'll be a tight fit. Continue to push until you hear a small click, or you cannot push it any futher. The click is the sound of the small latch engaging with the notch on the Glock's rail. You will know when the latch has engaged as there will no longer be a raised bump in the middle of the muzzle break's rail.

To remove:
Using either your finger nail, or a very small flathead screwdriver, lift up the muzzle break's latch by just a few millimeters using the tiny notch on it's side. While doing this, gently pull the muzzle break off the front of the gun. If the latch has been raised enough, it'll be no longer pushing against the Glock's rail and will slide right off.
